Sex Series

February 16- March 8

The topic of sex is inescapable in today's culture and it is important that we also talk about it in church. If left unaddressed by the church the message that is sent to students is that sex is shameful and wrong, which couldn't be further from God's truth. We want to open up the dialog as a group so that it can become a bigger part of our conversations and so that we can acknowledge the good and proper place that God has for sex in a person's life. 

For this series we will be using separate curriculum's between the middle and high school groups and further breaking up small groups between boys and girls when appropriate. Parents, we understand that discussions about sex are sensitive and all material is available by request for preview.

Hockey Night Out

We are planning to attend an AHL hockey game between the Manitoba Moose and the Chicago Wolves for our annual hockey night out. We will car pool together from the church and then stop to grab dinner at a restaurant on the way home. $20 covers the cost of ticket only, so students should bring extra money for when we stop for dinner. Tickets need to be reserved, so students need to  sign-up on the church website for this event by March 1st.
