Dear Patients and Families,
Thank you for bearing with us as we continuously monitor the COVID situation and make changes to our office policies and procedures to continue to provide outstanding medical care and make sure to keep your children WELL.
With so many schools closed, we hope you will work with us to really continue the process of Social Distancing. This means no playdates or group get-togethers, avoiding unnecessary indoor gatherings, and avoiding contact with other people (outside your household) in general. The better we all are at following these instructions the sooner the COVID pandemic will subside and we can all return to normal.
In order to keep sick and well separate, we have made some changes for next week’s visits.
We have suspended Walk-In. Please CALL FIRST to schedule an appointment.
We will schedule well visits ONLY between 8am and 1pm.
We will provide sick visit times between 1pm and 7pm.
We will have providers and nursing staff available to you throughout the day to triage calls regarding viral illnesses with fever and cough. If we think your child needs to be seen on a more urgent basis, we will work with you to figure out the safest time and place for this to occur. You can also contact us via MyChart.
We are actively working on developing a virtual visit, but as with all new technologies, this may take some time. We hope to be able to use this type of visit effectively in the near future.
If you are scheduled for a non-urgent follow-up or older child well visit and want to reschedule we will be happy to help you. We do ask that younger infants continue to come in for routine visits in order to stay up to date on necessary vaccines to prevent severe viral and bacterial illnesses.
