Saturday, March 27th, 8:30am-4:30m, Glen Lake Camp
MISSION DAY!
First thru sixth graders and their families are invited to attend a Mission Day at Glen Lake Camp in Glen Rose, Texas! What will you do? You will work for one hour then have fun canoeing, fishing, hiking and more for the remainder of the day. A hot dog lunch along with a short devotional time is also included. This fun day cost nothing! But sign ups are required. Please contact Teresa Chisum for more information and to sign up.

Mondays, February 22nd thru March 22nd

Join us for a 5-session Lenten study He Chose the Nails by Max Lucado. We will share on-line via Zoom, using the video that accompanies the study. Max examines the gifts that Christ gave at his crucifixion, including not only the cross and the gift of grace, but also forgiveness, love, and victory!
The purchase of the study guide is recommended. It's available through Amazon or Christianbook. Classes are approximately one hour, including video. Contact Trudy Smith to sign up!

Acolyte Training, Sunday, February 7th, 10:00am, Sanctuary
Greetings parents of 5-7th graders! We will begin acolytes in the 11:00am service starting February 21st. This year will look different, but your child will be able to participate in worship by bringing the light of Christ in the service and then taking it out into the world. What better way to start the Lenten season! There will be a quick training on February 7th at 10am in the Sanctuary for new acolytes. Please email thomaswilliams@aledoumc.org if you are interested in your child participating. If your child is in confirmation (7th grade), they will be acolyting as a part of their service requirement. I look forward to hearing from you!
