Perry Continues Growth
The City of Perry's Community Development Department issued 43 new single-family home building permits in March, bringing the total for the 1st quarter to 122.  

Skweeky Kleen Carwash #2 on Plaza Connector Drive was issued a land disturbance permit. 

Jersey Mike's and Dunkin Donuts are under construction on the west side of Sam Nunn Blvd at the 136 exit of I-75. Cook Out is under construction at the former Taco Bell location on the east side of Sam Nunn Blvd. Zaxby's is under construction on Perry Parkway beside Wendy's and Skweeky Kleen Carwash.

Oliver Perry's Opens Downtown
Oliver Perry's, located at 905 Carroll St. is now open in Downtown Perry.

The restaurant and bar is open from 4 - 9 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and serves steak, fish, pastas, and much more.

It is also open for Sunday brunch from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Clover Wine Receives Natural Gas Grant
Clover Wine Merchant received a check for more than $5,000 for taking part in the City's Downtown Development Authority's Natural Gas Incentive Program.
In an effort to bring more unique restaurants into the Downtown District, the program reimburses applicants for up to 50% of approved costs of gas equipment and installation for commercial kitchens. Clover Wine Merchant, which opened in August 2020, recently installed a hood and commercial kitchen to offer dinner service.
