Nurturing the faith of those who are the church to come.

A gift to the Pentecost Offering helps the church encourage, develop, and support its young people, and also address the needs of at-risk children. 40% of the Pentecost offering can be retained by individual congregations wanting to make an impact in the lives of young people within their own community. The remaining 60% is used to support children-at-risk, youth, and young adults through ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency.

Pentecost
June 5, 2022

At Pentecost not only do we celebrate the birth of the church of Christ, but also the birth of Highland Presbyterian Church. We are 39 years old this year and will celebrate with a birthday cake and refreshments following the Worship service. Happy Birthday Highland!

Pentecost Offering
June 5, 2022

The Pentecost Offering is one of four offerings received by the Presbyterian Church (USA) annually. Support of this offering helps the church encourage, develop and support its young people and also address the needs of at-risk children. 40% of the Pentecost offering received at Highland will be directed locally to support the Baton Rouge office of Presbyterian Children's Homes and Services. The other 60% is used to support children-at-risk, youth and young adults through ministries of the Presbyterian Mission Agency. What a wonderful way to nurture the faith of those who are the church to come. Please give generously.
