PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT - ART
Each week, we will be highlighting one of our programs or offering resources for the Radcliffe community to illustrate The Radcliffe Way!

Working with clay is always a kid favorite! Mrs. Herron's Art students love making bowls, building mini houses, figures and animals. The middle school students always love to try out the pottery wheel. Last month, we were fortunate to have the talented ceramicist and RCS grandparent, Marilee Schuman, work with the kindergarten, first, second and third grade students. Each student made an animal found in the Chesapeake Bay out of clay. Eventually, the animals will be mounted on poles to be installed outside on the school grounds. A big shout out goes to Marilee for offering her time, expertise and vision to this wonderful project!

MORNING DROP-OFF PROTOCOL

Please make sure to keep your student in the car during morning carpool until 8:00 when school opens. It is imperative that students remain under adult supervision while on school grounds. When the building opens at 8:00 am, students are permitted into the building.

More info, the volunteer jobs needed, and sign up site is available here!
RADCLIFFE COOKBOOK

For his Leadership Passion Project, student Collins Rhoe combined his love for cooking and wanting to help other children attend RCS to create the idea of the first ever Radcliffe Cookbook. With input from you and family members, the Radcliffe Cookbook will feature some of our community's favorite recipes.  Collins needs your help to make his project a success and it starts with you taking a few minutes out of your busy day to share your favorite recipe(s).  Collins has made sharing your recipe super easy.  Just click on this link and fill in the form, upload a picture if you want, and tell everyone why Radcliffe means so much to you.  Don't forget you can purchase a copy of the Radcliffe Cookbook for only $10 and know that 100% of the proceeds are going directly into the RCS Scholarship Fund.

If you have any questions, or if you would like to pre-order a copy of the Radcliffe Cookbook for yourself and/or a family member , please email Kelsey Aburn .
