FinalForms Student Info Online Management

We are pleased to announce that Mercy High School has partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to electronically complete and sign enrollment, back-to-school, and athletic participation forms for your daughter(s). FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice. FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, saving you time.

All parents should have received an account confirmation email from FinalForms. From this email, please click the registration link and follow the steps to login and access your student(s). If you did not receive an email from Final Forms, please check your spam/bulk email folder or contact Kate Scalzi at kmscalzi@mhsmi.org .

Once you confirm your account in FinalForms, you will be able to review and edit your data at any time. Each school year, you will be required to sign new forms and verify accuracy of your information.

For your daughter's Mercy email, please follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to mail.google.com

2. Enter in your Mercy email address which will be firstname.lastname@mhsmi.org for example if your name is Jane Doe your Mercy email address would be jane.doe@mhsmi.org (name as listed in FinalForms profile)

3. Login with the password of Mercy2020!

4. Change your password. Make sure it is between 8-12 characters, has at least one capital letter, one number and one non-alpha numeric character (!@#$%^&*()

We kindly ask you to complete the FinalForms process by July 31.
Message from the English Department

Dear Parents of the Class of 2024,

It's no secret that students who don't read, don't succeed...

Numerous studies show that students who don't read or read very little over the summer see their reading abilities stagnate or decline. That's why Mercy High School is asking all incoming 9th graders to read a common book this summer.

All incoming 9th graders are required to read The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle by Avi before school starts in August AND complete the guided reading questions for each chapter for better comprehension.

There will be a test on this novel during the first week of school in August, and the guided reading questions will be collected. *The test and guided reading questions will be your daughter's first and second grades in the course.

This historical fiction novel (SBN-13: 978-0-545-47711-6) is available at local libraries, Barnes and Noble, or through BNC K-12 powered by MBS Virtual Bookstore .

Please access the guided reading questions here: https://tinyurl.com/mercyenglish9 .

If your daughter struggles with reading, you may wish to read it too so you can discuss the book together. Thank you for your support in this effort. We look forward to helping your daughter succeed as a reader, writer, and critical thinker.

Sincerely,
Mercy English Department
