Innovative ways to help you achieve better health outcomes
for older adults living with frailty, across the continuum.
How not to be accidentally ageist
For many people, December is a time of reflection as well as a time of giving. This December we encourage all healthcare providers (clinical and non-clinical) across all sectors to reflect on ageist attitudes and behaviours, and to give the gift of interactions that are free from ageism. Ageism can be insidious and sometimes difficult to recognize. Even caring people can commit accidental acts of ageism!
Click here to watch the 1.5 minute video, "Communication matters". Do you recognize these behaviours in yourself or others?
Our QI coaches share bright ideas to support people who care for older adults living with frailty, and who want to learn from and inspire others. To share tools and experiences or ask for advice from others, including our QI coaches, join the sfCare Forumoremail us.
