Positive Exposure Confirmed

Dear Mountain Dandelion families,

It has now been confirmed that the Mountain Dandelion Class is considered to have had a positive in-school COVID exposure. Thankfully all exposed students/staff tested (negative) today and should test again on Weds, 18th May, prior to attending school.

In addition, masks need to worn around others for 10 days from the time that exposure is known (until Monday 5/23, end of day)

Regardless of vaccination status, exposed students can attend school, but they should continue to quarantine for at least 5 days in terms of general exposure (outings, restaurants, etc.)

If your child has tested positive for COVID within 90 days they do not need to test, unless they develop any possible symptoms.

Symptomatic individuals, regardless of vaccination status, or recent infection, should remain home and if positive or not tested, stay home and isolate for 5 days.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at COVID Confidential

Thank you,
