Understanding Career Roadmap and Workday

Project Linus
Thank you to everyone who helped make blankets for Project Linus! The blankets will be given to children who are going through tough times and need a little extra comfort in their lives.
Above and Beyond Awards
ESAC is now accepting nominations of current Engineering staff members for the 2020 Above and Beyond Awards. The intent is to provide a mechanism for employees to be recognized for outstanding performance in support of the college’s mission and university core values as they go above and beyond in carrying out their duties. All nominees will be recognized and award winners will be announced at the Staff Appreciation Luncheon in the summer.


Nominations are due April 17, 2020.

Office of Outreach and Engagement Grants
The Office of Outreach and Engagement will be providing grant funds through a competitive process to university faculty and staff to support program, performance, exhibition impact assessment, public policy review/development, professional development programs, and professional conference or workshop participation. The deadline to apply is March 22, 2020. Grants up to $10,000 are available.

Out of Darkness Walk
Ohio State is hosting the Out of the Darkness Campus Walk on Saturday, April 4, 2020. This walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, support and an opportunity to unite as a campus and community. The walk will help raise awareness and funds to invest in new research, create educational programs, advocate for public safety and support survivors of suicide loss. Or maybe you are looking to get more active by starting a walking or running program?Join Eric Fruth on March 18 at 11:30 a.m. to learn about the different aspects of running/walking shoes and how to find your perfect fit. 

Budgeting is a key way to maximize income and plan for a healthy future. Financial expert Jay Lindner, CFP® from COPEC will share the skills needed to develop sustainable budgeting habits. Health coach Amanda will also be on hand to discuss how financial fitness is an essential part of wellness, and to help participants set financial goals that support overall health and improved wellbeing. This is a four-session series on Mondays at noon beginning April 6.
