Next Session of After-School Spanish Begins March 30

We're getting set to offer a second round of K-2 and 3-5 Spanish! Due to the popularity of the class, there will be two classes offered back-to-back each day. Classes will begin March 30/April 2 and will go 8 weeks instead of 6 weeks bringing the cost to $100. The last class will be May 18/May21.

Please call or stop by the main office to register. Cash, check and credit cards accepted. Please make checks payable to CCDS. Class size will be a maximum of 20 students.

Times:

Mondays (K-2nd)

1st Class: 2:35 - 3:20 p.m.

2nd Class: 3:25 - 4:10 p.m.

Thursdays (3rd-5th)

1st class: 2:50 - 3:35 p.m.

2nd class: 3:40 - 4:25 p.m.

Note : there will be a 10% discount if signing up more than one sibling. Monday class right after Easter weekend will be Tuesday, April 14.

March Book Madness to Begin After Spring Break

March Book Madness will begin after Spring Break. We are still accepting book donations! Please click here to purchase a book.

A couple titles that we have not received a copy of are My Papi has a Motorcycle and Mission to Space . Thank you to everyone who is helping us collect these books!

Preschool Has Openings in Afternoon Classes

Preschool Pre-K morning classes for Fall 2020 are currently full, but they are taking names for their waiting list.

They have openings in their two afternoon classes.

Wishlist for STEM Lab for K-3rd grades:

small boxes of any size (jello, crackers, cereal)
toilet paper rolls/ paper towel rolls
empty water bottles or small fruit/yogurt cups
lids from milk jugs, water bottles, etc.

All items can be dropped off in the main office. Thank you in advance for helping to keep the STEM Lab stocked!

Last weekend five 7th graders represented CCDS at the 2020 National Science Bowl Northern California Regional in Redding. They took 3rd place out of 13 teams! This was their first time competing and we're very proud of our students! The team: Zoe Kysar, Hannah Cantwell, Lucy Andersen, Bruan Hu(team captain), and Audra Hayton. Great job!

A huge thank you to parent, Monica Woodward and David Eubanks for supporting for their amazing work with the Science Bowl team!

PTP Update

PTP Needs Your Help

A family in our school community lost their house in a fire last week. This family needs our support and we are looking for donations of gift cards to grocery stores, target, amazon or anything that will help them rebuild. There will be an envelope in the office for these donations. We'd like to collect items this week so that this family can put gift cards to use as soon as possible. Thank you in advance from the PTP for coming together to help.
