An Opportunity to Learn about Colombia’s History and Geography
Colombia is a paradox. The country is widely judged to be the longest surviving democracy in Latin America. However, Colombia has also endured the longest lasting guerrilla movement in the entire region as well as the violence of drug cartels and kingpins. Most recently, the lush beauty of the mountains and the colorful flora and fauna of Colombia have inspired the Disney hit Encanto. Join us this Sunday for a presentation on Colombia in the Molyneaux Lounge. In preparation for our mission journey in July, all are welcome to join us and learn more about this fascinating and beautiful country.

Attention all sewers!!!
The last of the fabric has finally arrived for the Colombian baby blankets. If you have a sewing machine, (and know how to use it 😁) please consider helping us hem / serge / etc. the edges of the blankets to ensure that they won’t fall apart in the wash. The blankets will be taken down to our sister church in Barranquilla to help them with their center for refugee women and children. You can pick them up in the church near the mailboxes. When you finish them, please give them to either Megan Worcester at church or Bridgite in the church office. Muchas gracias a todos!!

Click here to sign up to volunteer.

The produce that will be gleaned / picked / harvested will be sent to Oxford's TOPSS Pantry and distributed by JEE Foods among area soup kitchens and food banks.
CCNS NEWS
What a year! The CCNS graduation was held on Monday, May 16, 2022, and the ceremony went perfectly for our preschool graduates! We are thankful for the CCNS families, as they put their trust in the CCNS staff, as we have cared for and educated the CCNS children through many different preschool experiences.

Our last school day is Thursday, May 26, 2022. We can’t wait to see what’s next for our preschool graduates!

There's one more thing, before I am done. We need some adults and teens to join in the fun.

If you can spare some time to join us on the isle, I promise it will be the most fun you've had in a while!
