Dear Students and Parents:

As we continue to understand more about what reopening will look like across the state, and plan specifically for the various forms that may take at Bishop Hendricken, we have decided to postpone the launch of our INSPIRE Program which was originally scheduled for September 2020.

While this is certainly a difficult decision, it is one that we feel is prudent for the educational experience of our students. Given the circumstances into which our academic program has been thrust over the past months with more anticipated as a result of reopening in the fall, our goal is to ensure that students are properly acclimated to their school experience under the "new normal" before taking on a new educational challenge. We want to maximize the positive experience of the INSPIRE Program for students and faculty, and we feel as though this postponement is in the best interest of both.

At this point, our hope is to be in a position to launch INSPIRE in January 2021 for the second semester of the academic year. As our Academic Committee continues to plan for what our school reopening will look like, they are diligently considering INSPIRE’s role in their plans.

We will provide more updates on plans for our INSPIRE launch as they become available alongside our communications regarding reopening. One update is our Academic, and Health and Safety Committees have been hard at work planning for the reopening in the fall. Currently we have 2 full in person plans, a partial in person plan, and a full distance learning plan. It is our goal to come back full in person and provide the best student experience possible.

We thank you for your continued patience and understanding.
