Letter from the Board Chair
On behalf of the Disability:IN Wisconsin Advisory board, I’d like to thank all our members, committee volunteers and advocates for their contributions in what was an extremely successful first year of operations. We focused on three pillars, programming, membership and financial sustainability.

We exceeded our target goal for attendance at each of our events, expanded our membership, built collaborative partnerships and did all this in a financially sustainable fashion. Additionally, we developed a strong governance and organizational structural that positions us for consistent, sustainable growth in the coming years. Our organizational structure includes volunteer leadership from our members overseeing programming, membership, communications and supplier diversity. This is a business led endeavor focused on providing the education, resources and tools necessary to positively change culture and drive results.

Moving forward into 2020, we are excited to provide programming around accessibility and accommodations, Disability Equality Index (DEI) strategies for getting started, tools to enhance culture resulting in more self-identification, tools, testimonials and strategies for companies with less then 500 employees, supplier diversity and our 2020 Inclusion Summit held Oct 20 th  at ManpowerGroup.

Please notice that our address has changed, and can be found below. I also encourage you to check out our enhanced website disabilityinwisconsin.org with new tools, resources and direction to get things moving. Please also follow us on social media at the links below for all the latest updates.

We have an exceptional group engaged member organizations and business leaders dedicated to enhancing their talent base through the retention and recruitment of individuals with disabilities. I strongly encourage anyone not involved to consider joining, don’t get left behind.
