Class + Organization Visits
CSL staff is available to visit courses and organizations and briefly speak to students about the Certificate in Service Learning, and service opportunities available on campus and in the community.

Our 2021 Class Virtual Visit and 2021 Spring Guide are both available online. These are quick ways to introduce students to getting involved with service learning and civic engagement on our campus!

If you are interested in a live virtual class visit or a visit to your organization, please email us at csl@ku.edu with dates and times that your course or organization meets!

Service Showcase
The 2021 Service Showcase and Celebration is on April 22! This annual event recognizes a year of service and community-engaged work at KU. The Service Showcase is an opportunity for students to share their service projects and experiences with the University community and Lawrence community partners, while the Service Celebration is a big “thank you” to faculty, staff, and community partners that have collaborated with us this year. Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the Service Showcase and Celebration will be held online instead of in-person. Registration is open now!

We would love to encourage instructors to consider offering extra credit to students that submit a Showcase proposal or exempt them from another course assignment in exchange for participating. For inspiration, check out last year's Service Showcase presentations!

Encourage your students to Submit a Presentation Proposal!
