Worship This Weekend
A new month brings a new sermon series at FCC.  Join your church family for "First Followers," a sermon series that looks at the calling of Jesus' first disciples. We'll explore what these individuals did when they encountered Jesus, and what we can learn from them.

This week, Jesus calls Simon Peter, Andrew, James, and John to follow him, and they immediately left everything and followed him. Are we in a position to answer Jesus so readily and so completely?  The sermon title:  Immediately.  The scripture:  Mark 1:16-20

The Chancel Choir will once again present our gift of music at the 9:00 a.m. service. Aren't they talented?  At One and All, the 10:15 a.m. progressive service, you'll enjoy outstanding live music by our One and All band, and will share prayer, fellowship, a teaching, and even breakfast with friends and family.

Can't attend this Sunday?  Tune in at 9:00 a.m.on our Facebook Page, or on our website ( www.blmfcc.com), to see a live stream of the traditional service!  You can watch  and worship along with folks at FCC.  Be sure to tell your friends!

Drop Off Sweatpants for Bent School Students, who are in need of gender-neutral colored pants sized 4T-7.  A collection bin will be at the Info Desk.

Drop Off School Supplies and other items for school children. Reach Out is collecting supplies for Sheridan School and Bent School.  Teachers have requested a number of specific items.  Please find a detailed list of needed items at the Info Desk or in The Messenger.

Drop off your Box Tops for Education in the Disciples Women's Ministries mailbox outside the church office door.

Greet a visitor. Greet someone another member has greeted!  Several contacts truly make a person feel welcome.  Please encourage a visitor to sign the friendship pad and include an email address.  A great resource for helping a visitor is the bulletin, and you can also walk them to the Info Desk for another warm greeting,  more information, and a welcome gift!
