You be the Judge

Come and join us for a fun evening of food and art. Our presentation is centered around the recent Florida Watercolor Society Exhibition so we want You to be the Judge. Our own local art celebrities will walk you through the jurying process and give you tips on how to look at a painting and judge it. This will be an interactive presentation so bring your questions!
Remember to bring some treats to share for our holiday celebration and if you want to participate in our annual Grab a Gift, Share a Gift event. Please bring a small wrapped piece of your artwork, print or original. No need to frame it.
DVDs: Don't forget to return...and to take out.

Karen Knutson will open your eyes to Gustav Klimt as you delve into acrylic for the first time or as an experienced painter.  This workshop will emphasize good design with lots of tricks and techniques to push you into Klimt's world.  New to acrylic inexpensive paints may be used for the process.  No drawing skills are necessary to enter this playful but expressive workshop.

February 18-20 2020
Anne Abgott, in her Daring color and more!  You will learn to exaggerate the possibilities of an Image.  Design, photo shop, power repetition, balance, color games through mingling with a different image produced each day. One day will venture into opaques.  All will be learned as you work from Anne's photo or if you choose to work with your own photo. All Levels are welcome.  You will never fear watercolor again.

Join Steve Rogers  as we discover the pure Joy of painting intuitive Abstract Painting with Fluid Acrylics , Watercolor Pencils and Crayons. Letting go and realizing that there are no rules, depending entirely on understanding Design and Color Theory.  All of which will be thoroughly explained and illustrated.  Then the fun begins.  Lots of intuitive painting time with help finding your direction and finally what it takes to pull an Abstract together.
