Registration for Careers in STEM Summer Camp is Now Open!

We're happy to announce that registration for our Careers in STEM Summer Camp is now open!

The FREE six-week program, funded by The Children's Trust, will take place at Cutler Ridge Park and receive 40 participants entering grades 6 through 8 (middle school). Participants will learn to build and program a VEX IQ Robot while discovering the world of robotics and engineering.

Program Highlights
  • Potential to earn an Introduction to Robotics Certification from Carnegie Mellon University's Robotics Academy
  • Program ends with a Robotics Exhibition, where participants display their robotic creations
  • Educational field trips
  • Group STEM activities and presentations
  • Social/emotional learning activities
  • Fitness and nutrition education
  • Lunch and a snack offered daily

Program Dates and Hours
  • June 20 through July 30
  • Camp hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • No camp on Monday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day

Program Registration and Deadline
Applications will be received on a first come, first served basis. Once the 40 slots in the program have been filled, incoming applications will be placed on a waitlist. Spacing may fill quickly, so submit your application as soon as possible.
