The GW Biorepository recently received designation as a core facility. Housed in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the facility provides access to state-of-the-art equipment to investigators across GW.
U.S. News and World Report has recognized GW as a Best Hospital for 2019-2020, ranking it among the top 10 percent of hospitals in the Washington, D.C. metro area. The GW Hospital received 5th place out of 50 hospitals in the region.
A research team led by GW Cancer Center member Y. Tony Yang, ScD, LLM, MPH, recently received a grant to reduce and evaluate liver diseases attributable to Hepatitis B through screening, vaccination and follow-up.
Monica Rengifo-Pardo, MD, is an accomplished dermatologist and clinical instructor of dermatology at the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
