Named in honor of the former HHS Secretary Louis Sullivan who was
instrumental in the creation of WEDI and initiating the healthcare industry’s
ongoing commitment to improving healthcare through the development of
standards for administrative simplification. This award recognizes an individual
who has distinguished themselves through their leadership, vision and
achievements in advancing the efficiency of healthcare.
For 2020 all WEDI members were invited to submit nominations for our awards, we received the glowing recommendation below for Alix.
Alix has been a true champion for transforming the current administrative transactions environment. In her roles as co-chair of the NCVHS Standards Subcommittee and co-chair of the ONC ICAD Task Force, Alix has been a leader in bringing the industry together to solve its many challenges.
