This month, five new cases have been added to the ALI Collection! Read cases on ALI Fellows Garrett Moran (2013), Fred Southwick (2010), and Marissa Wesely (2014), as well as Faculty Co-Chair Howard Koh and Harvard faculty member Jay Winsten.
 
ALI is delighted to announce a new Faculty Co-Chair, Professor Julie Battilana. Professor Battilana is a Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School and the Alan L. Gleitsman Professor of Social Innovation at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Jacques Perold (2015) has been elected to MSCI's Board of Directors. In a recent press release, MSCI highlighted the strength of Mr. Perold's leadership experience and insights into a complex global financial system.
 
Denis Weil (2015) is the new dean of the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Weil will start his activities as dean with a listening tour for Institute of Design alumni and special guests.
 
Jeff Dunn's (2014) Sesame Workshop has been named a semifinalist in the MacArthur Foundation's 100&Change Grant Competition. As part of their grant proposal, Sesame Workshop has partnered with the International Rescue Committee to educate children displaced by conflict and persecution.
 
Ron Grais (2014) is fighting to transform the lives of people struggling with mental illness. In his work with Thresholds, Mr. Grais has helped create a smart phone app to assist veterans, a program for dealing with substance abuse disorders, and a program and clinic for first episodes of psychosis.
 
Laurent Adamowicz (2010) is reinventing healthy eating. Mr. Adamowicz outlined how augmented reality could bypass future food labeling policies at an MIT Media Lab event, and he is teaching a class to Harvard Medical School students about cooking and nutrition.

Professor Rosabeth Moss Kanter (HBS) offered insights on the power of mentorship in honor of International Women's Day. Professor Kanter detailed how mentorship can sometimes come from unlikely sources in her interview with HBS.
 
Professor David Gergen (HKS) believes that politically engaged youth are the key to healing deep national rifts across the United States. Professor Gergen implored young people to get more involved in politics at a Harvard forum event.
 
Professor Howard Koh (HSPH) and his colleagues at HSPH and HBS have been awarded a new grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The grant furthers Professor Koh's work to strengthen the private sector's role in building a culture of health.
