INSTRUMENT DRIVE SPECIAL EDITION
It's time!
Late winter/early spring in Colorado consistently brings two things - dramatic fluctuations in temperatures and Bringing Music to Life's annual instrument drive.
QUARTER NOTES
February 2020
This year we are celebrating BMTL's 10th anniversary with our  instrument drive March 2-15, 2020 . We collect gently used band and orchestra instruments, provide the necessary repairs to be certain they are in excellent, playable condition and award them to underfunded music education programs across the state.

Get a jump on your spring cleaning or make good on your resolution to de-clutter this year. Everyone benefits!
Now is the time to look under your bed, dig d-e-e-p into the back of your closet, search up in the attic or down in the basement to find that musical instrument you've been meaning to donate.

There will be convenient drop off sites across the state  (check out the list below to find the donation location nearest to you).

Bundle up and we'll see you March 2-15!
Give an instrument
you no longer play
an encore performance!

Dedicated, enthusiastic, hard-working music teachers from all across Colorado will help pass along your love for your instrument to the next generation of
band and orchestra students.
Over the course of
nine instrument drives,
we have awarded nearly
5,000 instruments to
230 music programs
throughout Colorado.

We accept:
brass
guitars
percussion
strings
woodwinds

A special thank you to the Colorado Symphony for hosting 10 donation concerts early in their 2019-2020 season. We received more than 21 instruments from symphony patrons.
Young audience members entertained themselves and everyone else with silent performances on donated instruments, playing air violin and air trumpet in the lobby of Boettcher Concert Hall!
