Our Martin Luther King Day of Service was a great success! Upper School students traveled to serve at Tri-State Food Bank, Evansville Rescue Mission, Borrowed Hearts, Ronald McDonald Houses, St. Lucas UCC, and Good Samaritan Home. Middle School community service SLC memebers led a series of MLK-inspired activities for JPK-4th graders. And among other activities, Middle School students used sidewalk chalk to demonstrate peaceful protest for topics that are important to them. We are proud of our students and the excellent examples they set during their service learning experience. View and share photos on our recent social media posts:

Meet and network with local medical professionals. Discuss career paths with medical professionals and USI faculty members and pre-professional advisors. Attend a panel discussion about different career paths. Attend breakout sessions to learn about:
  • Undergraduate preparation for your career (how to choose a college and major, alternative paths)
  • Getting into professional school (how to apply, how to be competitive, how to score well on exams)
  • How to survive and thrive in undergraduate and professional school
  • Life as a practicing medical professional
  • Learn how career paths differ (MD, DO, PA, NP, OT, PT, etc)
  • Advice for parents: What you can do to help
