MS. KEATON'S CELEBRATION - DEADLINE - MAY 20, 2022!
Thursday, May 26 is the day for Forbes Keaton's special retirement chapel. We would love to welcome you back on campus to celebrate with us!
Do you have anecdotes or photos about Latin Feast, History Day, Noah's Arc, the Lascaux Caves, your Roman Villa, or the San Francisco Art History Trips?
Or would you like to maybe share how Ms. Keaton inspired you, what impact she had, or simply have a message you'd like to share with Ms. Keaton? I will print them and add them to a special box we are preparing for her.

After Easter Break the whole community enjoyed our Festival of Flowers in the outdoor chapel. This year, our littlest Saints from Preschool, Pre-K, and Kindergarten very enthusiastically decorated the cross with lots and lots of flowers.
For the first time, our 6th grader got to go to Camp Ocean Pines in Cambria for their outdoor ed trip and they enjoyed every minute of it! From dissecting squid to axe throwing...
7th graders finally got to go back to Headlands! They were very excited for their overnight outdoor ed trip and enjoyed hiking and exploring the Marin Headlands!
Our 8th graders are wrapping up their final year at All Saints. They just enjoyed a trip to Pescadero - Cocina de Baja California restaurant in Carmel (Gabe Georis '92) to celebrate their years of World Language classes.
Yesterday, we celebrated our Spring Fling. We were so excited that we could finally celebrate with all our parents & grandparents on campus! Students treated us to fabulous musical performances and everybody enjoyed a fun Open House and lots of campus explorations afterwards. Of course there was plenty of food and an awesome photo booth bus!

We love it when we can welcome our alumni back on campus.
- Thank you to Jim Moreau '19 who helped out big time reffing some of our basketball games (did you there is a referee shortage!).
- We were delighted that Allie Loomis '10 managed to make time for a visit. She is currently visiting family all the way from down under where she lives, works, and plays professional water polo.
- It was a pleasant surprise to welcome Jamie Staples '99 back for a campus tour with his Dad John. He's currently living in Oregon but he and his family are contemplating a move back to California. Needless to say, we're huge proponents!

Congratulations! Heather just published a book - a memoir her husband’s great-grandfather dictated to his caretaker when he was 95, in 1979—My Life in Pacific Grove by W.R. Holman (Mr. Holman of Holman’s Department store). This memoir was originally mimeographed and bound for neighbors and relatives and Heather had been encouraged for years by local publisher Patricia Hamilton to write a new introduction and republish it.
She spent the pandemic sorting through boxes and boxes of newspaper clippings, large format negatives, portraits, letters, and so much more. The material was left to her family by her mother-in-law (W.R. and Zena Holman’s granddaughter Patricia Santini). She wrote an intro, afterword, and epilogue, and scanned lots of materials (there are more than 150 photos, letters, and ephemera throughout).
Heather is an editor by trade and worked at Penguin Random House and Simon & Schuster in NYC before moving to Pacific Grove in 2013 with her family. She now works as an independent editor and had a lot of fun putting this book together working with former colleagues from Penguin Random House who designed the book and created the ePub.
