In 1978, WKRP in Cincinnati aired the now famous "Turkey Drop" episode for Thanksgiving (see below). For those of you who are too young or haven't seen the episode, essentially a simply promotional idea to giveaway turkeys ends in a catastrophe. Somewhat like 2020. We all started the year with ideas, resolutions and goals to kick off a brand new decade. Little did we know that our best intentions would jump the tracks just 3 months into the year, due to COVID-19.

Despite the challenges that we have all faced this year, we remain grateful. Author Melody Beattie writes "Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. It turns problems into gifts, failures into successes, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. It can turn an existence into a real life, and disconnected situations into important and beneficial lessons. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. Gratitude makes things right".

This Thanksgiving we want to share our genuine gratitude to our family of member stations and associates. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve you each and every day.

Wishing you and your family a safe and blessed Thanksgiving!
