| Yearbooks, take 'em before we toss 'em! |
The yearbook committee has old yearbooks to get rid of from over the past decade. When you are at Cossitt for Parent Teacher Conferences please take any that you would like. Or grab one for a friend who no longer has kids at Cossitt but might enjoy one from when their child attended.
A table will be set up outside of the office. Please help yourself! Whatever is left over after conferences are over will be shredded.

| 5th Grade March Madness |
To continue the battle of the books positive energy from 4th grade into 5th, we are now introducing Cossitt 5th grade March Madness reading program! The program will run from Wednesday January 29- Friday April 3rd, and the big tournament will be the week of April 6th! Students were given a flyer with more details and a book list including the 8 book choices last week. A little friendly reading competition just like the NCAA basketball tournament, complete with bracket style eliminations! Hope your 5th grader can join us!

| Vintage Charm Fundraiser |
Join us for a fun night of drinks, light appetizers, and shopping at Vintage Charm on
Thursday, December 5 from 6:30-8:30. It's a festive night out to knock a couple of gifts off your holiday gift lists. Plus, the more you spend at Vintage Charm the more Cossitt PTC raises for their great programs they offer to the kids at Cossitt. Vintage Charm will donate 10% of the sales that night to Cossitt PTC.

| Cossitt Book Club Coming Soon! |
Cossitt Book Club sign-ups are coming soon!
Book Club is open to all 2nd, 3rd and 6th graders. All levels of readers are encouraged to join! Book club meetings will be led by parent volunteers once a week for 6 weeks during lunch hour starting the week of January 13th.
Parents, start thinking about volunteering with your child's group. It is a great way to connect during the school day!
The link to sign up will be in the 12/6 Friday Folder, after Thanksgiving break.

Monday 12/2 through Sunday 12/15/19!
Sweeten up your holidays with delicious desserts from Nothing Bundt Cakes! Purchases can be placed in-store, over the phone, and online, and you can even pre-order for your upcoming 2020 events as long as you pay for advance orders during the fundraiser timeframe of 12/2 through 12/15/19! 20% of proceeds will be donated back to our school! Just be sure to mention the Cossitt PTC fundraiser or show the flyer when ordering. Let Nothing Bundt Cakes do some of your holiday baking for you!

Give yourself a break from holiday cooking and come on over to Noodles and Company for dinner on Tuesday 12/3 from 4 pm-8 pm! 25% of proceeds will be donated back to our school in celebration of National Giving Day! Enjoy their delicious noodles, soups, and salads!

| Wolves Save the Date |
For the Chicago Wolves Cossitt Family Day Hockey Game! Bring your family and join other Cossitt friends to cheer on the Chicago Wolves against the Rockford Icehogs. Tickets will be on sale at a big discount. Order forms will go out after Thanksgiving break.

| Social Fundraisers--Special Thanks! |
Many thanks to the Social Fundraiser Committee for once again knocking it out of the park!
Yesterday, Cossitt parents gathered together at BLOOM3 to make handmade wreaths! Thanks to hosts, the Lucina, Loughney, Kuhlman, and Moran families for underwriting the costs of this Cossitt fan-favorite social fundraiser event and thanks to all parents who came out to support this event -- over $1,000 raised to support Cossitt teachers and our kids!
