Middle States Accreditation Update
The faculty, staff and administration of Delone Catholic would like to extend our gratitude to the entire Delone Catholic community for your prayers, help and support during our Middle States Accreditation Visit on November 12-15, 2019.  The visiting team consistently commented on the sense of community that they experienced within our walls, and that sense of community was indeed a major focal point of their final oral report.  While re-accreditation will not be official until the Middle States Association votes in the spring of 2020, the visiting team is recommending that our re-accreditation be granted. We are grateful for the input of all of our stakeholders and are excited to implement our goals and objectives in the years to come!

Brush Up on Your Math SAT Skills
There will be a Math SAT Study Session, sponsored by Mrs. Sneeringer and the members of Mu Alpha Theta, from 3-4:00 p.m. in Room 19 on Wednesday, Dec. 4.  All, especially those taking SATs on Saturday, Dec. 7, are welcome to attend!

Please Support the PTO Christmas Raffle
On Thursday, Nov. 14, your student received forty (40) PTO Christmas Raffle tickets. The cost for each ticket is $1 and the top prize is $500. This is the main PTO fundraiser and we are asking each school family to do their best to sell all forty tickets. There is a letter with the raffle tickets that details how the students may earn dress day downs based on ticket sales and submission dates. Raffle winners will be announced during halftime at the girls' home basketball game on Friday, Dec. 13.  This fundraiser supports classroom items and special events such as Open House, the Academic Banquet and the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon.

SportsLeader Virtue of the Week
One pillar of the SportsLeader program is a weekly virtue that we incorporate into our athletic practices and throughout our school community. Every week, we will share them here to encourage the students to take the virtue into their homes as well!

This week our virtue theme is being AUTHENTIC the strength to always be true and real.  AUTHENTICITY  is necessary for everything in life. We need to be "real" for ourselves, our teammates, our family. If not, we will never win when it counts; trying to be something that we aren't and never will be.   Challenge yourself to be AUTHENTIC with friends, teachers and family members this week. Say what you mean and do what you say. Find the courage to be you no matter the perceived cost may be.
