We had a wonderful turnout yesterday afternoon and enjoyed seeing so many smiling faces drive through and walk-up to receive their Advent materials! If you are still in need of an Advent Wreath Kit or devotional, please coordinate with Jessica Shanks (704-333-6194) or by visiting the welcome table at this coming Sunday's Advent Walk.

Below you will find a link to view a recording of this weeks music and meditations. Thank you to our Worship Band, Rich Stanley and volunteers, for recording yesterday evenings planned music and meditations!

Advent I - Music & Meditations
HOPE

The word Advent means “coming.” As Christians we know and celebrate this season of the church as a time to prepare, reflect and acknowledge our gift of salvation through God’s Son, Jesus. This week we light the candle of hope, symbolizing the hope Jesus brought into the world.

What are you hoping for? Where does your hope come from? How can you share hope with others?
Mission - Sharing Hope
Avondale Blessing Bags

This weeks mission is centered around sharing hope! We are sharing hope with others by filling the Avondale Blessing Bags received yesterday, for our friends living in the Supportive Housing Program through Roof Above. The Supportive Housing Program is for people who have recently escaped homelessness and are now living independent of shelters but are still receiving support through peer counselors, mental health aid, case managers and nursing services. This week, help to share the hope of Christ with our neighbors in need by filling your bag with goodies, prayers and warm notes! We ask that you return your Blessing Bag this Sunday at the Advent Walk!
