The Williston STAR Fund board has approved up to $50,000 for Community Enhancement grant applications. The Wiliston City Commission will consider the board's recommendations at its meeting January 28. We'll have all of the details in the January 31 Williston Wire.

Hops and Berry prepares to open in Williston
News Release - A new lounge is preparing to open next month in Downtown Williston. Hops and Berry Taproom is located in the Renaissance on Main building. It will feature more than 50 different brews.
PSC to host Public Hearing on Oneok Pipeline March 6 in Williston
Bismarck Tribune - A public hearing is slated for March 6 in Williston on a proposed natural gas liquids pipeline slated to connect several processing plants in Williams County. Oneok wants to build the 75-mile line to carry natural gas liquids from the Hess Tioga, XTO Nesson and Flatiron Springbrook plants to another pipeline and, ultimately, to markets farther south in the middle of the country and on the Gulf Coast, the company said in an application to the North Dakota Public Service Commission. Pilot Drone Project moves Forward in McKenzie County
Williston Herald - pilot drone project in McKenzie County is one of at least two commercial drone ventures that could help position the Oil Patch for North Dakota’s next beyond visual line of sight radar system. McKenzie County Commissioners awarded a contract to ISight RPV Services during their regular meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 21, to help the county assess the condition of its gravel roads after rain events. Watford City building New Daycare Center
As more and more families with children continue to move into Watford City, the need for another daycare has carried right along with it. Construction of New McKenzie County Elementary School on track
Thanks to a very mild fall, barring any unforeseen events, Steve Holen, McKenzie County Public School District No. 1 superintendent, says that Watford City’s newest elementary school will be ready for students at the start of next year’s school year. MonDak Lawmakers meet January 8
Montana and North Dakota legislators representing the Sidney , Williston Watford City  and Bowman areas held an informal meeting at the Missouri - Y ellowstone River  Confluence  Center on Jan. 8. Discussions centered on challenges facing each state and the  MonDak  region. Read More
