CSU’s virtual commencement will be held on Sunday, December 13, at 1 p.m. On Nov. 23, graduates received an email from StageClip, CSU's virtual commencement partner, inviting them to upload a brief video, photo and written message to create a personalized “grad slide." The portal will be open until Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11:45 p.m., so it's important to submit your information before the deadline.

Use the link provided in the StageClip email you received or go to upload.stageclip.com and use your csuohio.edu email address. Grads who choose not to upload personalized content will still be recognized with a slide that includes their name and degree. Students Helping Students Raffle
Students Helping Students (SHS) is an initiative sponsored by the 1964 Society that aims to get students involved, engaged, and understanding the importance of philanthropy. Students have the chance to make a change on campus and in other students’ lives by contributing through the gifts of time and talent as well as financial donations.

In the end, their goal and the goal of SHS is to be able to award as many SHS Scholarships as possible to students whose financial need may be greater than yours,and who have shown others what philanthropy really means.

Raffle prizes includes iPad, Echo Dot/Google Home, and gift cards. Tickets are $5 each.

First Year Experience (FYE) at Cleveland State University is looking to hire Peer Mentors for the 2021-2022 Academic Year.

The FYE Peer Mentor serves as a guide to support and provide academic assistance to first year students at Cleveland State University. The Peer Mentor serves as an integral part of the First Year Experience Seminar - Introduction to University Life (ASC 101) and the first-year student acclimation to campus life.

Each Peer Mentor assists students in developing their knowledge, learning new skills and bolstering their confidence to become independent learners with high academic performance. The Peer Mentor works closely with the instructor in planning and preparation for the course, attends each class, assists students in transitioning to Cleveland State University, as well as coordinates multiple out-of-class activities.

Peer Mentors are compensated for working up to 10 hours per week at $10.00 per hour. FBI Academy Now Accepting Applications

CSU and the FBI Cleveland Division are excited to partner up once again for an hour long virtual CSU Students Academy that will give you an opportunity to get a comprehensive look into today’s FBI.

The Academy will work to educate and inform students about the mission of the FBI including criminal, cyber threats, terrorism and administrative functions. This program is scheduled to begin January 20, 2021 and will run virtually from 11:30am to 12:30pm for 12 consecutive Wednesdays.
