Tom Morales, Lawrence Central Class of 1971, has been honored as a 2019 Old Master at Purdue University. An Old Master is an exceptional person who has made significant contributions to their own field. Tom Morales currently serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Morales Group, Inc., a company serving as a bridge between the Indianapolis business community and the region's growing Hispanic population. Morales Group has become one of the nation's top 100 Hispanic Businesses. Learn more about Tom Morales' achievements by viewing the 2019 Old Masters.

Mark Ayers Lawrence North Class of 2000 , was featured on the Today Show.
After having a lifesaving procedure at the age of nine, Mark Ayers was inspired to work in medicine and pay it forward. Dr. Ayers received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Since 2014, he has been in practice as a Pediatric Cardiologist at IU Health. Here you  can view the clip from the  Today Show  where Mark Ayers shares a touching story. 
      
Mikale Rogers , Lawrence North Class of 2013 ,  has returned to Lawrence North High School as a receptionist and a coach for the girls varsity basketball team. Mikale attended IUPUI where she played as a center for the basketball team. Through her time playing at IUPUI, Mikale was named the Summit League Sixth Woman of the Year, becoming the second player in program history to win the award. She also became the 23rd player in IUPUI history with 1,000 points for her career. 

Taylor Williams, Lawrence North Class of 2015, has joined the Lawrence Township School Foundation as a Development Associate. She recently graduated from Ball State University in May with a degree in Public Relations. While at Ball State University, she was a Resident Assistant and involved in several organizations such as Cardinal Communications, PhD Pathways, and Excellence in Leadership. Taylor was named one of 18 Centennial Scholars to commemorate the University's centennial. Taylor is looking forward to getting involved with all things Lawrence Township!

   
M'ya Watts, Lawrence North Class of 2017, has been named a scholar in the United Planet Merit Program from the National Society of High School Scholars. M'ya is a junior at DePaul University in Chicago majoring in Health Sciences and is a Resident Assistant on campus. My'a has won three additional scholarships toward traveling abroad to Kenya, Dominican Republic, and to Spain. My'a will be graduating early next year.

Keyaira Murff Lawrence Central Class of 2017, is a junior center on the Goshen College women's basketball team. Keyaira has been named the Maple Leaf Athlete of the Week based on her performances during the week of November 11-17. Keyaira came within one point and one rebound of averaging a double-double last week. A career 38 percent shooter, Keyaira went 7-for-14 from the floor for a 50 percent clip last week. Keyaira averages 5.1 points a game and has 13 blocks to drive her career total up to a program-record 96. Keyaira ranks ninth in the NAIA in blocks.

LT Basketball at Bankers Life

Make plans to join the Lawrence Community for an exciting afternoon of basketball on Saturday, January 11 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse!

Game times are as follows:

1. Belzer vs. Fall Creek Valley 7th grade: Noon*

2. Belzer vs. Fall Creek Valley 8th grade: 1:30 pm*

3. Lawrence North vs. Fort Wayne Snider: 3:20 pm*

4. Lawrence Central vs. Fort Wayne Dwenger: 5:50 pm*

*times subject to change

Emanuel Duncan Alumni Basketball Game
Saturday, January 4, 2020 @ 4pm
 
To honor the memory of LC super fan Emanuel Duncan, we will hold our first ever alumni basketball game on January 4th at 4pm in the Main Gym. All proceeds raised will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Family Foundation.  
 
This game is open to anyone who earned at least one varsity letter in either boys or girls basketball at LC. All eligible players must have received their diploma from LC. Email Ryan Banas if interested in participating
