Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church is a congregation that
values a diversity of belief. Whether you're full of faith or full of doubt,
you'll find people who have been there and accept you for where you are.

We welcome all people to worship, pray, eat, seek spiritual answers and enjoy life within this community of faith. All are welcome!
Meet Sarah: CHPC's Financial Administrator!
Hello, Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church!

My name is Sarah (Rogers) Johnson. I am excited to be working as your new Financial Administrator.

I am a native of Kingsport, growing up in Colonial Heights and graduated from Sullivan South High School. I attended East Tennessee State University and received my Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. I have worked in a CPA firm for a few years. I married the love of my life, Jason, in 2011. Jason is a Nurse Practitioner at ETSU Bristol. We have made a home in Kingsport. In 2012, we had our first born Elijah. He is a 4th grader at Johnson Elementary. Hannah followed in 2016. She is currently preparing to go into Kindergarten. The day after our 10th wedding anniversary, we had Cora. She is 8 months old and learning how to crawl and stand. With 3 kids and a house full of pets we stay busy, but we enjoy spending time with friends and family. In my spare time, I love to craft, read, or play a game of Uno with the kids.

I have enjoyed getting to know several members while I have been training and can’t wait to meet you all in the coming weeks. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I will do my best to answer them. My email is finance@chpres.org and my office hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:30 to 1:30.

I hope you have a blessed Easter,

Sarah Johnson

Easter Lilies
At this time of year, our thoughts turn to family, friends and special loved ones, both living and deceased. The CHPC Easter Lily Memorial Gift is for those who wish to honor or remember these important individuals with a living Easter Lily or a monetary contribution to our Renovation Fund. All names will be printed in the bulletin on Sunday, April 17th. Lilies will be used to decorate the church and may be picked up after the Easter service. The cost is $10. Forms will be available on Sunday in the bulletin and in the narthex. The deadline to return forms is April 12.

One Great Hour of Sharing Offering: April 17
For over 70 years, One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) has provided Presbyterians a way to share God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world. From initial disaster response to ongoing community development, the different programs supported by OGHS fits together to serve individuals and communities by providing safety, sustenance, and hope. PDA responds to national and international crises and is mobilizing to provide food and other needed supplies to those in Ukraine. You can learn more about their important work here. If you feel called to contribute financially, please do so through PDA's online giving portal here.

March Update for Covid Protocols
Out of an abundance of caution and a shared desire to love others as Christ calls us to do, Covid protocols have been updated by the Session. This includes masking being recommended but not required during worship. You may read the guidelines in detail here.

Please continue to contact the front office if you begin to feel poorly after attending worship. Thank you for your willingness to love thy neighbor in these ways as we seek to faithfully serve in Christ's name.

All items for the weekly online newsletter should be emailed to Kacee at kacee@chpres.org by noon on Wednesday.
