For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we.. might..have.. hope.

Message from Pastor Austin

Are you tired of reading nothing but bad news? Me too! Time to read good news- THE GOOD NEWS that the angels proclaimed to the shepherds and God proclaims to us- that God came to us in Jesus. It's time to rediscover Christmas! Click the button below to request Rediscover Christmas daily devotional.
See you Sunday online as we rediscover HOPE in our uncertainties.

Austin
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

See message below from last week

Dear Grace Fellowship Family,

Out of an abundance of caution and in keeping with what our County health officials are recommending, we are moving our services to online-only for the next several weeks. As I’m sure most of you are already aware, positive COVID cases are surging in Eagle County and have reached levels beyond those early in the pandemic. I have personally spoken with many people who are sick, or have friends and family that are sick including Melissa, my wife who tested positive for COVID. Our family is now quarantined for two weeks and I know some of you are quarantined as well. Thank you for your prayers and we continue to pray for all those who are sick in our valley.

While government officials have not yet mandated that churches go to virtual services, the church board has decided to transition to our online service as we prepare for new guidance that we believe will be coming over the next few weeks. We can pivot back to in-person when it is prudent to do so.

While it is disappointing that we will not be gathering together in person, we know that our Lord meets us wherever we are – even online. He did it before, and as He promises, He’ll continue to walk by our sides, or in this case, sit by us as we worship online. Our hope is that we will all be together in person soon.

Moving to virtual services does not change anything about my availability to each of you. If you’re in need of comfort and encouragement, or in need of anything at all, please know that I am available.
Probably like you, I’ve gotten pretty good at meeting through FaceTime or on Zoom. Please read Grace News for announcements, encouraging words, and videos with updates.

Please know your church family cares about you and loves you and we will do this together knowing God will give us the victory. I’m looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday – online!

May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus our Lord!

In Christ’s Love,

Pastor Austin

The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully[a] will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
