HAVE YOU SEEN THE NEW PARTITION IN THE UPSTAIRS EVENT SPACE AT THE LIBRARY? IT WAS CONSTRUCTED FOR $32,800 AND 100% OF IT WAS DONATED BY THE LEWISTON LIBRARY FOUNDATION.
"This partition provides a sound barrier for patrons outside of this event space; giving then peace and quiet to read and explore. On the other hand, it gives patrons utilizing the event space some privacy inside, but without feeling closed off," Library Board of Trustee Member Bill cone said.
SERVICE SPOTLIGHT
A FLASHY, NEW LOOK ALONG MAIN STREET
Rapid flashing beacons have been installed at the Brackenbury Square and Main Street crosswalk (pictured), the intersection of 11th Street and Main Street, and at Del Sol Lane and Main Street.

"These beacons enhance public safety by drawing drivers' attention to pedestrians crossing the street," Construction Coordinator Kris Dugger said.
IMPROVING ACCESSIBILITY
ONE PROJECT AT A TIME
The Lewiston Transit Division has installed two new ADA accessible bus shelters; one at Opportunities Unlimited Inc., 325 Snake River Avenue, and one at Albertsons (pictured), 1024 21st Street.

"We are excited to have upgrades to our system that shelter our clients from the elements," Transit Manager Suzanne Seigneur said.
