BSS celebrates Catholic Schools Week and Spirit Week January 26th-January 31st

 

Mark your calendar for all of the fun! The theme of this year's Catholic Schools' Week is Catholic Schools: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed. We celebrate Catholic Schools Week each year with Catholic Schools around the United States! 

 

It's also BSS Spirit Week! Thank you to our Student Council for our fun list of daily dress up themes! Students may dress down each day in the "theme for the day." Students choosing not to participate in that day's theme will need to wear their school uniform. $.25 per day or $1.00 for the week.

 

Sunday, January 26th: Celebrating Our Parish

Catholic Schools Week Mass at 10:30 a.m. 

We will hold our annual X-STREAM Expo in the Gathering Space that day after the 8:30 and 10:30 Masses.  We ask all families to attend the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Students will serve as ushers, readers, and our MS students will lead the music portion of Mass.  Students are asked to wear their winter uniform, and parents are asked to dress in blue and gold! We ask that MS choir students sit in the reserved Blessed Sacrament School area in the church near the piano and arrive by 10:15 AM.  Students will sit with their family during Mass. ALL families are invited to attend Mass.

 

Each morning at school during CSW a member of AYLA or Student Council will read a prayer that connects to the daily theme.

CSW Activities : Canned food drive- We want to collect 1000+ lbs.

 

Tuesday, January 28th: Celebrating Our Families

Spirit Week Theme: Celebrity/Super Hero Theme

 

CSW Activities : Bible Bee, Living Wax Museum.  Parents: Look for a special treat in today's pick up line or at Club Knight pick up!

 

Wednesday, January 29th: Celebrating Our Nation

Spirit Week Theme: Blue & Gold Day
