News and Updates For You
Welcome to the monthly e-newsletter for NHTI alumni and community supporters. We want to keep you up-to-date on our academic programs, upcoming events, and let you know how you can support and stay in touch with us. Thank you for being part of NHTI - Concord's Community College.
NHTI Welcome Message
As the leaves change color and start to fall to the ground, we are reminded that no matter how much things change, some things remain the same.

With all the changes that NHTI has implemented these last seven months, our dedication to our students and commitment to our community stays the same. We are continuing to provide a high-quality educational in areas where there are workforce needs. We work with employers to up-skill their workforce through on-the-job training. We help those looking to expand their minds and opportunities through education.

We would not be able to do all of this without our alumni and community supporters. Thank you for taking the time to stay connected to NHTI. We appreciate you!

Alumni Spotlight - Bill Walden

Bill is a popular alum because he teaches our students how to make beer. It's all good, I promise. Bill partners with our Brewing: The Science Behind Beer chemistry class every year as a way to give back to NHTI and provide a hands-on learning opportunity for our students.

This seems like a strange turn for this Paramedic Emergency Medicine alum but as a lifelong learner and constant reinventor of himself, Bill is a great example of how you can start at NHTI and go anywhere. You can read his blog post here.
Mindfulness in Society
Virtual Speaker Series

The final session in our speaker series is on Monday, October 26th 5-6:30pm with Stepanie Briggs from Be.Still.Move.

We invite you to explore how mindfulness can help us address challenges that have become central to our society over the last year. Personal and interpersonal insight can help build communities that foster connection, opportunity, health, and fulfillment.

NHTI Athletics
NHTI Athletics held it's 2nd Annual Hall of Fame Ceremony on September 18th. Although it was not a live event, those being honored shined brightly.

On March 11, 2020 the NHTI Men's Basketball Team became the USCAA Men's Division II Champions. Due to COVID, we were unable to have a true celebration so a socially-distanced ring ceremony was held this fall.

Congratulations to everyone!
