Important Information
Annual Fund Update

Thanks again to all parents, grandparents, faculty and staff members, and friends of STM who contributed to this year’s Annual Fund. Since our newsletter last week, we have also received donations from:

Substitute Teachers

Athletic Director Position Available

STM is currently accepting applications for the position of Athletic Director. This is a part-time position, and the job description can be found on the STM website at the following link,  Athletic Director
STM Fan Shop

The STM Fan Shop is open. Check out the new items for parents, parishioners, faculty, staff, and fans. These items will make great Christmas presents, are a wonderful way to show STM pride at work or around town, and will look awesome when cheering on your kids from the bleachers.

In-Parish Tuition

In order to receive the In-Parish Catholic tuition rate next school year, 2020-2021, families must make a minimum contribution of $400 to St. Thomas More Catholic Church by December 31, 2019. Donations can be made online at  stmchurch.org  through Faith Direct at the following link,  STM CHURCH . If you have any questions please contact Kelly Forbes in the STM School Business Office .

If your child signed up to help an angel in need during the Christmas Season, the selections have begun. Please note the following dates of angel tree selections.

Spotlight Performance: "The Mystery of the Missing Ring"
Thursday, November 21 at 6:00 pm

STM's Spotlight, Sr. Drama Club, will perform
"The Mystery of the Missing Ring ", a good old-fashioned "Who Dunnit".
Guaranteed lots of laughs!
Marian Devotion - December 4

When : First Wednesday of each month following afternoon dismissal until 3:40 pm

Location and Pickup : Mother Theresa Room (near Activity Center)

Who : All students, teachers, and parents/guardians are welcome

Mission : "By praying the Rosary together, we are able to better know Jesus through his mother, Mary. Although Jesus is the one true Mediator between us and God, we call upon Mary's motherly love to bring us closer to her Son."

Please join us as we pray the Rosary and grow closer to Jesus through Mary.

You are welcome to bring your own rosary,
but rosaries and prayer booklets will be available.
Band/Choir Concert - December 5

Come support our bands and Liturgy Choir on Thursday, December 5th at 5:30 pm in the STM gym for our annual Christmas concert!

You will hear many beautiful Christmas tunes from the talented students of STM! 
Reminders
When Your Child is Sick

Students should be free of fever, vomiting, diarrhea or other symptoms for 24 hours prior to returning to school. Students diagnosed with strep throat are to be on antibiotics for 24 hours before returning to school.
Carpool Reminder

Morning assembly begins at 7:40 am for Kindergarten through 8th Grade students. Carpool runs from 7:15-7:40 am, and all students are encouraged to be on time. There is 7:00 am mass on Wednesday and Friday mornings that lets out in the middle of carpool. Please plan accordingly on these days, and thank you for your flexibility and patience. 
Cafeteria Reminder

Due to federal guidelines, no outside restaurant food is allowed in the cafeteria. Thank you in advance for adhering to this guideline.
Christmas Holidays

Reminder that Christmas Holidays begin after 11:30 am dismissal on Friday, December 20 **There will be NO Extended Care on Friday, December 20.**

We look forward to student's return to school on Monday, January 6, 2020!
