Season's greetings, Rohan Woods!
I saw a saying recently that brought back a flood of memories. Since I was a small child my favorite show during the holidays was The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. This isn’t a story that’s just about Christmas. In fact, the story line is meaningful no matter your beliefs. While the Grinch is the main character, in my opinion, the character that shines is Cindy Lou Who. I love her gentle nature and her ability to see the good in people and situations.

While 2020 is a year we are ready to leave behind, take a moment and identify all of the positive things that happened this year. Dig deep, way beyond that fact that our lives changed dramatically. Dig beyond the uncertainty felt at times. There are many things we discovered about ourselves we didn’t know. We discovered our resiliency, fortitude, true sense of community and how fortunate we are.

As we move into 2021, not quite knowing what the future holds, please remember: there are Grinches in the world, but it is our job to be a Cindy Lou Who.

Many blessings to you and your family.

Warmly,
Sam
While we will miss our traditional Winter Program in person this year, we can look forward to celebrating our children's musical talents in the new year!
