June 9, 2020
Starting tomorrow, June 10 beginning at 10 a.m. until June 11 ending at 11 a.m. you can support our co-curricular programs by making a donation through The Big Give and/or participate in our Virtual Online Auction. As many of you know, due to COVID-19 we were unable to hold our annual Casino Royale event, which funds the programs our students are involved in throughout the school year, including our performing arts, athletics and over 50 clubs. On average $80,000 is raised at Casino Royale, which has proved vital to the success of these programs.

Make a Donation through The Big Give!
All donations during The Big Give will receive a pro rata portion of a $1 million+ bonus pool. Credit card fees for The Big Give donations will be covered by The Columbus Foundation, so 100% of your donation goes to St. Francis DeSales High School. There is a minimum donation of $20. No limit to how much you can give! The link below will direct you to the donation page. Select the amount to be donated and click on the GIVE button. Under the “special instructions” state your co-curricular program(s).  *If you go directly to The Columbus Foundation, please search for our school by typing in ‘Saint Francis DeSales High School.’

$5,000 Grant Awarded to SFD

As a part of the updates to our campus and facilities, St. Francis DeSales High School will be installing a new VoIP phone system. This terrific new communication platform will connect the entire campus and improve the safety and security of daily operations. We are blessed to have received a $5,000 grant from The Catholic Foundation to use toward the cost of this outstanding improvement.

Spiritual Reflection
Dear Lord, we so much want to live in the light of your faithfulness. Help us never to become complacent in our journey with you. Guide us to be more giving—better listeners, slower to judge, and champions of others. Amen.
