Men help Heart+Hand

load truckload of clothes

Men from Elizabeth Memorial United Methodist Church in Charleston and First United Methodist Church in South Charleston teamed with other volunteers and staff from Heart + Hand in South Charleston to load a truck with used clothing on April 12.

The used clothes were out of season and Heart + Hand, a mission project of the United Methodist Church, had no more space to store them. The clothes were sold to Causeworthy Clothes of Alta Vista, Va., the largest clothing recycler in Virginia and West Virginia, for eight cents a pound.

Causeworthy Cothes sends clothes to Central America, South America, or any area that has experienced a natural disaster.
