Schematic design is complete for a  29 acre fire training center with a sub-station and District offices for the Beekman Fire District in Beekman, NY.

MIDWAY

 

Midway Fire District and Volunteer Fire Department in Colonie, NY, propose to build a  new 23,976 sq. ft. facility on their current station site. The new station will provide space for apparatus, firematic support, administration and training (classroom, practical and physical), as well as a community room that can be used by the public. The project is the result of 7 years of work by the District and will go out to the voters for approval in August.

BALTIMORE STATION DESIGN CONFERENCE 2014

 This 1-day conference is brought to you by Firehouse and will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center on Wednesday, July 16. The focus will be on best practices and design innovation for public safety facilities. Learn about topics ranging from site feasibility to healthy design.  Mitchell Associates will present "Controlling Your Fire Station Construction Project" from 1:00-2:00 pm.   

At this session you'll learn how your project's construction documents control  project quality, scope and cost. Learn to define contractors' obligations to assure that all of the work gets done correctly, completely, without surprises, and at the lowest price.
