The Item Newsletter, Issue #5, October 18, 2020
Hello HW Families!

We hope you are enjoying these beautiful fall days!  Please take time to admire the wonderful efforts of the "HW School Clean Up Crew." Over 40 families volunteered their time over the weekend to pull weeds, rake leaves and spruce up the school grounds before the inevitable cold weather arrives.  THANK YOU to all who took part in this service project and we look forward to doing it again next year.  The school looks GREAT!

There are so many remarkable things to look forward to in the coming month...Halloween, Spirit Days, World Travelers and our beloved Book Fair!  We are in for a great stretch, get ready!

Please continue to stay informed via the PTO website and reading The Item Newsletter.  As always...the PTO is here to support our children, our teachers and our school community.  If you have suggestions or ideas, please reach out to us-we would LOVE to hear from you!

A Reminder to Social Distance and Wear Masks

As school continues, please remember to maintain social distance.

With that, clusters of children or adults will not be able to gather, as we need to be 6 feet socially distanced at ALL times, and keep following our new processes to enter our school safely.

Masks must be worn on campus while outdoors when you arrive. What may seem to be a harmless "quick" break in practice can cause unintended quarantines, impacting many.

Thank you for understanding our collective responsibility!

Need Tech Help?

There is a lot of technology to figure out this year! If you need help, please email the Help Desk at [email protected] and cc our very own HW Technology Integration Specialist Billy Spicer at [email protected].

A representative from the Technology Department will be able to address the issue. If something is not working, it is always okay to take a break or step away.

Please remember that Related Arts Teachers are not available to provide support during their lessons as they are trying to run the class. Thank you!
