For CASA volunteers
Glamour Gowns and Suit Up

Volunteer at Glamour Gowns and Suit Up to help provide free new dresses and suits for youth in foster care! Since 2001, the Glamour Gowns Suit Up event has provided more than 6,000 dresses, suits, shoes and accessories for thousands of kids in LA County’s child welfare system. 

We are looking for volunteers on Friday, March 22nd, Saturday, March 23rd, and Sunday, March 24th. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.

The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center at 1201 South Figueroa Street, West Hall, Los Angeles, CA 90015.

You can register youth (age 15+) to receive a dress or suit and register for your volunteer shift all by clicking here !

7th Annual Evening to Foster Dreams

On  April 24 th , 2019  our entire system of supporters will come together at the Beverly Hilton to raise $1.2 million. You can help us reach our fundraising goal in a diverse number of ways: by  gifting an auction item,  sponsoring a table, buying a ticket, or volunteering night-of. Please consider reaching  out to friends, colleagues, and business partners to ask for items for  our exciting silent and live auction. Or you can experience the night for yourself by a securing a ticket, sponsorship, or volunteer position.  Thank you for your support!

United Friends College Readiness Program
United Friends of the Children has limited spots available for their College Readiness Program (CRP) to help foster youth become competitive applicants for four-year colleges and universities. Enrichment focused: individual college counseling, tutoring, workshops, college tours, special events, and summer programs. F or an application and detailed information please click here .

Fostering Hope LA
Fostering Hope LA provides job readiness training and Christian mentorship to transitional aged youth. 8-week sessions, start on February 2019 on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30PM to 8:00PM. Participants will hear stories from former foster youth about their successes, speak with business owners, life coaches, and educational advocates, and be paired with a mentor. WE LIFT LA
WE LIFT LA empowers TAY youth and young adults out of the foster care system by providing life skills services, consistent support, workshops, and counseling to make the shift from foster care to independence less challenging and more successful. The organization offers housing, life skills development, and job readiness and vocational training. Click here for more info.
