Sawtooth Scarf
Designed by Quinn Reverendo, the Sawtooth Scarf is knit on US 9s with two skeins of Maxima from Manos del Uruguay. This is a great way to dip your toes into intarsia.
Maxima is 100% merino, comes in a huge variety of colors, and is incredibly soft. As if that wasn't enough, it's from Manos del Uruguay, meaning the women that make the yarns also own the company and we know they are paid and treated well. Since 1968, Manos has helped women stay in their towns and villages and take care of their families.

If you haven't tried Maxima before, this is a great way to introduce yourself to this wonderful yarn.
Fino Mini Skeins
Fino, from Manos del Uruguay, is a soft, delightful fingering weight blend of Merino and Silk. It's also a yarn that comes in 100 gram hanks that yield about 490 yards per skein, as well as Mini Skein kits which are 5 - 20 gram skeins in 5 different colors. (One mini skein kit is the same yardage as one full skein of Fino)

Fairmount Fibers, the US distributor of Manos del Uruguay, just released some new patterns featuring these fun kits. Almost all of the patterns use 1 full skein of Fino and 1 mini skein kit. You can choose the colors in the pattern or put together your own look!

Let's Wrap the Tree!
Yarn Bombing Group
Some of the wonderful folks that helped us wrap the tree last time.
Many of you may remember the tree in front of the shop had a sweater! We promised the landlord we'd pull it down when it got dirty and we did. We were all ready to re-wrap it, got squares donated from many of you, then Covid hit. As you might imagine, we've been distracted for the last two years.

It's time to get the tree wrapped!

From Wednesday April 20 to Monday April 25, stop in the shop and help us seam squares together!

On Wednesday April 27 at 11AM, come join us to help wrap the tree!

If you'd like to lend a hand, we need folks to knit or crochet 12" x 12" squares which will then be turned into blankets. Use any machine washable yarn in the color purple and send them to us at:
