New Research
The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) has published the report 'Sustainable Development Goals Interlinkages and Network Analysis: A practical tool for SDG integration and policy coherence'. The report presents   an integrated analytical approach to the identification, quantification and network analysis of interlinkages between SDG targets. The proposed approach was then applied to the analysis and visualisation of SDG interlinkages for nine selected Asian countries.

The Donor Committee for Enterprise Development (DCED) has released the report 'The Search for Synergy: Business Environment Reform and Green Growth'. The  report highlights areas of overlap between Business Environment Reform and Green Growth and spotlights best practices for promoting synergies and limiting trade-offs throughout key parts of the policy cycle.
Financing a Sustainable European Economy
The High-Level Expert Group on Sustainable Finance (HLEG) of the European Commission has released the report 'Financing a Sustainable European Economy'. The report presents a set of recommendations on how to 'hardwire' sustainability into the EU's regulatory and financial policy framework and how to mobilise more capital flows towards sustainable investment and lending. It then presents the initial analysis, options, dilemmas and trade-offs identified by the HLEG.

The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) has released the report 'Synergies between Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency'. The report examines how improved synergy between renewable energy and energy efficiency affects energy system and technology cost, and how it can contribute to global energy decarbonisation by 2050.

Looking Closely at Climate Finance in Developing Countries
The World Bank Group has released the report 'Results-Based Climate Finance in Practice'.  The report reviews 74 results-based climate financing (RBCF) programs implemented in developing countries with an objective to: assess the characteristics and overall volume of funding flowing through RBCF programs, describe the various approaches to designing and implementing RBCF programs, and compare practical experiences with applying RBCF with the existing theory and literature.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released the report 'The Empirics of Enabling Investment and Innovation in Renewable Energy'. The report assesses the impacts of climate mitigation policies and the quality of the investment environment on investment and innovation in renewable power in OECD and G20 countries.  It also assesses how countries' investment environments interact with climate mitigation policies to influence investment and patent activity in renewable power.
