Say thank you to a veteran on Veterans Day
City offices, Meadowbrook Activity Center closed on Monday, Nov. 11
We proudly honored our American Heroes at our Veterans Celebration earlier today and hope that you will do the same as Veterans Day approaches on Monday.

In observance of the holiday, City offices and the Meadowbrook Activity Center will be closed. Trash pickup in the City of Novi will not be impacted.

Meet your City Council at Welcome Reception
Reception starts at 6pm, swearing-in at 6:45pm on Tuesday, Nov. 12
The community is invited to join the Novi City Council for a Welcome Reception on Tuesday, Nov. 12 as we swear in the newly elected members.

Mayor-Elect Bob Gatt was re-elected to a two-year term. Council Members-Elect David Staudt and Laura Marie Casey were re-elected to four-year terms. Council Member-Elect Hugh Crawford was elected to a four-year term. Council Member-Elect Justin Fischer was elected to serve a partial two-year term.

The reception begins at 6pm in the atrium of the Novi Civic Center with the swearing-in taking place at 6:45pm.
Free car seat inspections on Saturday, Nov. 16
Licensed techs will install, check seats from 9am-noon at Fire Station #4
Get your child safety seat inspected or installed for free before winter sets in!

Licensed techs from the Novi Fire Department will be available from 9am-noon on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Fire Station No. 4, 49375 W. Ten Mile.

Please bring your vehicle's owners manual, car seat owner's manual, and if possible, the child who will be using the seat. Please allow 25 minutes for the installation & safety check process.
Moe's on Ten hosting free Thanksgiving dinner
Meal offered from 3-7pm on Wednesday, Nov. 27, donations appreciated
Moe's on Ten will once again host its free Thanksgiving dinner for the community from 3-7pm on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

The restaurant, located at 39455 W. 10 Mile, has been opening its doors for this event for more than 30 years. Although the meal is complimentary, donations received will be given to the area needy this holiday season.

Free transportation is also being provided by the City beginning at 3pm. Please call 248.735.5617 by noon on Monday, Nov. 25 to arrange transportation.
