Tomorrow: May 3 Is the OSHA Virtual NEP Meeting on Heat-Related Hazards
OSHA recently announced a new National Emphasis Program (NEP) to protect workers from heat illness and injury. OSHA is hosting a virtual event for stakeholders on May 3, 2022, from 12–6 p.m. ET. Click here for the meeting agenda, registration link, and more information about the virtual meeting.

This stakeholder meeting will allow participants to comment on the various efforts the agency is taking, as well as hear about the agency's rulemaking process and ways for the public to participate. Topics include:

NIA and AMPP are teaming up again for a 1-hour free webinar that will show you how corrosion under insulation (CUI) is more likely to occur in specific areas in piping and equipment systems. However, the visible areas where water ingress occurs are not necessarily the same areas where corrosion damage can be found.
Call for Entries: NIA's Safety Excellence Awards
Applications are now available for NIA’s Safety Excellence Award and will be accepted through Sept. 1, 2022.

Applications and instructions were emailed to each member company and are also available on NIA’s website. Winners will be announced at NIA's Annual Convention in Maui, Hawaii, March 15–17, 2023.
