- January 12 - March 22, 2020 Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery Anne Frank - A History for Today
The travelling exhibition “Anne Frank - A History for Today” tells the story of Anne Frank set against the background of the Holocaust. It makes use of images from the Frank family and quotations from the Diary of Anne Frank. Each panel displays information about the most important developments of that time: the rise of National Socialism, the Second World War and the persecution of the Jews. This is a travelling exhibition from the Anne Frank House (Amsterdam, The Netherlands).

Daughters of Uranium
Exhibit Mary Kavanagh exposes us to the presence of the Nuclear. The term "daughters of uranium" describes the radioactive decay chain of naturally occurring uranium, (U-235 being the crucial element for sustaining a nuclear chain reaction) while evoking generations born into an uncertain future.

Dr. Melanie Carina Schmoll, U of C Adjunct Professor, Political Scientist and Historian, speaks about the challenges of commemoration in a world of decreasing Survivors and witnesses, and the lessons of the Holocaust in fighting anti-Semitism, human rights violations, and inequality.
