Hundreds of Volunteers Help Beautify MoVal
Our second Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service was our most successful one yet, as hundreds of volunteers worked together to clean up two Moreno Valley parks.

Community members of all ages picked up their shovels and went to work, cleaning up Shadow Mountain Park and Lasselle Sports Park. The event once again proved good things happen when the community comes together. The next Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service will take place on Saturday, November 13 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Moreno Beach Drive Bridge Improvements
Require Overnight On/Off Ramp Closures
Attention, MoVal motorists!

Construction of the Moreno Beach Drive Bridge Project begins soon! The westbound 60 freeway on and off ramps will be closed overnight during the week of August 23.

The intermittent closures will happen from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., as construction crews make important steps toward improving the Moreno Beach Drive Bridge. Drivers impacted by these closures are recommended to take the Nason Street exit as a detour.

Please be cautious of all construction signs, workers, and detour signs. Safety is the City of Moreno Valley's first priority.

A Visit to Iris Avenue Trail
Iris Avenue trail is a nice, easygoing trail that snakes just over a mile from Via Del Lago, along Hammet Court. The trail, made of decomposed granite, is also adjacent to Lake Perris State Recreation Area, with sweeping views of the wild hillsides above Moreno Valley.
