With the start of this new year in the coming days, first let me commend you for your strength and resilience this past year. 2020 has certainly been a challenge. We have all been impacted, whether as a studio owner, teacher, assistant, dancer, or organization. We have all felt the ramifications on both personal and professional levels. Whatever the coming months bring, I know dance teachers and studio owners are strong and versatile beings! We’ve been able to think outside of the box and keep our dancers moving in whatever platform it takes, and for that, your staff, students, and parents are eternally grateful.
I am proud to share that with the hard work of the board and support from members like YOU, CNADM held its first successful virtual dance workshop in November. Studio owners and teachers attended business sessions and dance classes, and also offered fun dance classes for their students. Student Honors testing was offered virtually and opened up opportunities for students usually unable to attend in-person. We hope you enjoyed it all as much as we did!
Looking ahead to 2021, we are hopeful that we will get to gather in-person for the Summer Dance Workshop in July. I am blessed to be in your company as a fellow CNADM member. The CNADM family is unlike any other. Here’s to a better year ahead!
Wishing you Prosperity and Peace in the New Year!
